but i can run the program well when using 320x240px a long time ago on this laptop.
maybe there's some config so that i can use my 1280x720px..

i dont know why this is happening to me..

I have been put the AR capture --> i set: show marker info, resolution
and put the AR marker, i have been set--> marker 2, so i printed marker #2
ok,
when i running the program and pointed the webcam to printed marker, then i confused, WHY MY MARKER WASN'T DETECTED BY MY WEBCAM?
whereas i have been set the resolution (1280 x 720px) and check the 'show marker info' to make sure that my marker have the info.
but i have been try so man times but it's still not work!

hi, i have been bought a webcam --> 720px, 3 mp
but when i running the program, it's so heavy and cause my laptop run slowly.
why it can be happened?
by the way, when i used the previous camera --> 240px it's also cause my laptop run slowly.
my laptop spec is:
-core i3
-512 mb vga
- 2gb ram
-win7

What function that can be used to changes material?
The case is like this:
I have 1 marker for 1 object.
I want to change the material of the object by touching the marker repeatedly for different material.

Yesterday I used the Speech Recognition in OS3D, I was so interested to use this.
But, It's so heavy to run, even it can cause "Not Responding" and cause the program close immediately.
Whereas I only add some words into Speech Recognition dialog box.
I also have been check to running the example of Showroom car (in demos folder), and when I opened the .xos file and run, it also heavy even "Not Responding".
What a solution to solve this problem?

Where I can get the plugIT help?
Because I not yet know the all possibilities when I using plugIT.
For example in the misc, I can find var, switch, switchcase, debug console, input tunnel, etc
In the dialog box, we only find the short function of this plugIT.
As the beginner, I need more information and maybe some example can help me when I maked a project.

Can I make a list of menu and possible to navigated with my marker?
The illustrated like this:
I have a 3d object, then if it is appeared, so the menu also appeared.
In real axample:
The object is earth. And the content of menu such as: 1. View images; 2. View Video; 3. View information; 4. Go Online.
Then, I mean that I can choose the option of menu by navigating (up-down-left-right) with my marker.
So I have a menu in the interface and also have a marker that can navigated (up, down, left, or right, OK).
Is this possible?
Is OS3D support markerless?
I want to make my marker isn't limited by rectangle.
I want to maked marker with my own creation, such as icon like wheel, mouse, peace sign, flower, etc.
What is the reference for OS3D speech recognition when it is used? If it is associated with Microsoft Windows Speech Recogniton dictionary (for example)?
Because I think that I can't registered the word of any kind. Also I not yet know the events in OS3D that can control the object.
Maybe I need the words and events dictionary so that I can't registered the word of any kind.

Why my 3d object can't animated when it is in ogre format?
Previously, I have been maked an animation in 3ds max 2011.
It's only rotation of sphere.
But, when I export into ogre, the animation can't run.
Is I maked mistaked when manage the parameter?

hello, I just want to suggest for OS3D, it's about fitting on camera window.
I not yet know wheter the camera window in OS3D can fit on visualize.
Because as the beginner, I don't find the menu to fit automatically in this software.
Yesterday after my object successfull to appeared, I look my sphere object doesn't rounded, it look oval. Previously, I think I get mistake when setting on my sphere object in 3ds max 2011. But, about 12 hours later I found that it cause in OS3D. I must stretched the window manually until my object look rounded.

I think it would be better if OS3D have a menu to fit the camera window automatically, so it sure to match the resolution of camera.

OK Arkeon, but maybe I can't try using another webcam for a while.
But, I have been check 'Show marker info' and when I played, the marker was detected correctly --> the id number appeared.
I also have been try the project 'AR piano' on my webcam (resolution: 320 x 240) and it works!

but, when I using easy ogre exporter I found the error message at 3ds max 2011, so I'm using ogremax for a while. But, I want to try the easy ogre exporter later..
Hi all, why the object doesn't appear when I played? Whereas I have been set my project like this:
First, I put AR capture --> I set the resolution: 320 x 240 (based on my webcam resolution)
Second, I put AR marker --> I choose marker #1
Then, I added the resources to the scene.
I added the mesh --> Sphere.mesh
Then, I added dummy --> I give the name: earth_dummy
After that, I maked the .mesh object as child from earth_dummy.
Then, I set on AR marker --> object name: I selected earth_dummy, OK.
I also set scale and position on .mesh object --> scale X,Y, and Z = 0.01 each one and position=0.05
and then I print out the marker #1,
And then I played and pointed the webcam to my marker.
The result is --> my object doesn't appeared!

I have been locate my project folder, the directory name is TA, like this structure:
Scol Voyager>Partition_LocalUsr > TA > In this folder, it contain subfolder, that is "bitmap", "mesh", "material", and "model". This subfolder was added when I exported the ogre format from 3ds max 2011 using ogremax.
In folder "material", we can find file .material, also
in folder "mesh", we can find .mesh
in folder "bitmap", we can find images that used as texture for my .mesh object.
BUT,
When I 'add resources to scene', the error message was appeared, it said, " The file TA/material/scene.material do not contain all the correct resources path.
Do you want to rewrite with correct scol path?"

I still so confused with this problem, I was tried many times and ensure that I was locating my directory project in the scol partition.

OK, but I don't quite understand about the path of scol partition. Is this located on My Document > Scol Voyager > Partition_LocalUsr?
If ya, maybe I must locate my directory at this partition so that I can added the resources.

Hi All, I have some problem on exporting the 3d object from 3ds max 2011 to ogre format. I'm using ogremax, and I have been set some parameter in ogre dialog box, then I'm exporting the object into .scene that contain of .mesh and .material.
But,
When I add resources to scene, then appeared an error message "... don't contain all the correct resources path". So, I only can imported the sphere as .mesh file. In OS3D stage I only get the sphere without material.

Hey, I have been tried to detect object with my marker at another laptop, the result is --> Success!
Now, I have the conclusion that:
When I used the external webcam, the result is messy! I don't know how it can happen, the object doesn't appear correctly and the id marker wasn't appear.
BUT,
When I used the built in webcam in laptop, the result is OK! The object can follow the marker when moving.
SO,
I think my problem is when I used the external webcam. My webcam is 5 mp, and maybe it's about the resolution or whatever because I not so knowing about this problem, I am still the beginner for augmented reality.
This is my problem, hopefully it can fixed as soon as possible. So that Openspace3d can be better than ever!

and I get the problem in the middle of this tutorial:
1. When I played the the project, the id marker sign and x,y,z axis doesn't appear at the monitor.
Whereas based on the tutorial, it should be appear directly.
2. I imported the object resources and adding the mesh, then I scaled and set the position. Then I played, the result is --> the marker doesn't detect the object, so in spite of i move the marker, the object doesn't follow.

Is that I'm wrong about saving the marker, or when give the file name, or about my camera, and so on?

Hi All, I have a problem about Runtime error at 101:1153 Out of Range! that appear when I was launch in the first installation. After I choose the language, then I click Next, and then the warning was appear --> Runtime error at 101:1153 Out of Range!
I don't know how it can be happened, also the way to fix it.
