Russian Language
if I do os3deditor.russianrussian.lang is it possible to correctly display the characters?
I noticed a that the Chinese is missing
what fonts are used in the interface os3d?

Hi since Scol do not manage unicode you must set your default windows language to russian.
You can use notepad ++ to edit the files with correct caracters

this is usually the default setting on windows provided in your language
If you want to contribute for the russian version I can generate the files with automatic translation and send you the procedure to correct and commit them on the svn

I'm waiting for the correction of chinese and italian version so I didn't put them in the release yet.

hmm don't remember how I did it ^^ need a try
I made a tool for automatic translation.
I will generate russian language files for all plugits.
So the work will only be some corrections.

I did try with chinese by setting my windows in chinese for default language in app

it can happen if you edit the files in unicode.
wait until I generate cyrilic files with the correct charset it will works with this.
or try to change the lang file charset to correct charset maybe ISO-8859-5 - Cyrillic

strange it seems that windows to not apply the correct charset for all controls for russian language ^^
I did a trick in the code to make it works correctly : 
I'm commiting the changes and the auto translated files

no you must not use multi-bits charset like utf8
you should use the same charset set in the russian.lang file provided in the SVN
updating the file OS3Dlibs/2dglib.pkg will force the russian charset for russian language : 204

soundvolumeitalian.lang - soundvolume.italian.lang - there is no dot in the file name
soundeffect too
