Re: cannot import file format .DAE

What is the software you used to generate the DAE file ?
can you send me the DAE file so I could check what's wrong ?

Re: cannot import file format .DAE

Ok I found the issue, Ogre support a maximum of 256 bones on a skeleton, your scene seems to have too much bones on character. For realtime animation consider to minimize the number of bones on a model, you don't need that much ^^

Re: cannot import file format .DAE

fbs or collada is not the problem, your scene have too much bones for one mesh
You can try to export with bones unchecked, it should work but without animation

Re: cannot import file format .DAE

I've just imported your collada back into Blender removed the armature that was having issues and exported it as collada again.

I believe the problem was all the pending modifiers... please apply all of them before export your model or simply try to tick the "apply modifiers" box when exporting as collada.

I believe this might also solve the armature issues when exporting from your original blend file.

I've successfully imported the new collada file successfully into OpenSpace3D with no issues, except for some flipped normals on the back walls of your model.

Why isn't the image link working? How can I simply add an image from my computer to a post?

Here's it again on my Google Drive:
