move a selected object with the keyboard

how to move the selected object with the keyboard (up, down, left, right, on all axes)? his turn at a certain (specified), the angle many times in a row? I used the move, move to, rotate, rotate to, did not work:) (I'm doing something wrong)

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

another big thank you! Now the questions. Object rotates smoothly, how to do that he would turn 45 degrees at multiple button (ie clicked on turned 45, has pressed turned 45 ...).
Up, down, left, right, on all axes - this is for the movement - do not turn (when pressed on the keyboard up - it moves up...). Sorry for such questions, but I have a unique problem

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

to turn on pitch (X) yaw (Y) Roll (Z) just set the link parameter to object control with degree you want to turn.
(i'm not sure of what you mean)

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

Ok, I finally understand what you want ^^

It's a viewer application, with object dynamically loaded in it, and with some 45° smooth rotation (as like as there were pre-defined position). So, for me, the simplest way to do, is to position a dummy where you want to show your object, and to add 6 dummy to where you want to position the camera (up / down / left / right / front / back).
Then you can certainly use goto PlugIt or something like that to obtain smooth movement (and a set direction to the first dummy to orient the camera). I let Arkeon tell you which plugits to use, but I think that it's definitively the way to do.

<edit>My description is for 90° rot, but it's the same way of doing</edit>

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

I realized that I can not describe to you what I want. Let's order. First I make the menu. The menu will consist of the buttons. Each button corresponds to an object. When you click on the object will appear on the screen. Further, this object should be put into place. In order to put it, it must move. Now I was faced with the problem of how to move an object. As it rotated, I understand. Ideally I'd like to be able to not move the object to the desired point, and point your mouse at this point and he moved there. This principle is binding. I find it difficult to explain this, it would be easier for Russian:) But try. I chose the menu object - the base (it is located below the first). Further, on this basis I have to put the supports (pillars). Based on the need to wash the point where they were put, to keep alignment. I choose the pipe. Now it should be put in the right spot at the base. There are two ways. move it back from the keyboard or select it and find a point where it should be put. understand what I'm saying? If yes, give advice how to do it.

point at which I want to move in the construction design is constantly changing. A moving object must be with high accuracy.

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

You can even still simplify the task. How to make an object move to the right with the keyboard? not move from point to point and at any distance

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

Hi slavas !

the new OpenSpace3d release is done smile

an example of instantiate object manipulation is available in  "program files\scol voyager\partition_LockedApp\examples\advanced\instantiate"

the example show the add of new cube with the space key, and then a click on a cube make it movable using the arrow keys

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

I want to make an automatic increase of the price after adding an object. For example the object is worth $ 1. I added three objects. A text box labeled rates should be changed to $ 3. Can this be implemented?

Re: move a selected object with the keyboard

Hi,

you can use a Var plugIT to increment / decrement a value and send it to your flash interface
