Source Code & Binaries

Salut

You may want to try properly configuring your source code repository... https://svn.scolring.org/
Your SVN server is so poorly configured, that it needs some attention.

I have no idea what is going on in here... I gave up... http://redmine.scolring.org/projects/tu … repository

As an alternative... you might want to consider moving your project to Github.

OK, Are there any plans to write OpenSpace3D specifically for Linux?
Enquiring minds like mine want to know...

Smoochies.

Re: Source Code & Binaries

Hello,

there is no problem for us to retrieve source codes from the svn repository. why do you mean by "poorly configured" ?

GitHub is not really efficient for this project (too much code with too mush modified dependencies, several Go of data)

OS3D for linux could be easy to make but not quick; just need to implement a compatible 2D api like gtk or QT

Re: Source Code & Binaries

Never mind...
I will just wait for someone more knowledgeable about how your repository is indexed, in order to assist me in navigating your repository.
Thank you.

Re: Source Code & Binaries

The main directories from the trunk are:
the "dependencies" directory containing all the deps sources that have been modified or need to be build in static.
the "scol" directory contains all the scol sources from kernel to plugins
the "scol_applications" contains all the scol sources for the scol voyager or OS3D
the "scol_SDK" contains binaries
the "setup" directory contains setups scripts plus Ogre exporters source code in "contrib"

you can find tutorials for build using Cmake on redmine.scolring.org

Re: Source Code & Binaries

There is always possible to do better. You can also tell us what you think is misconfigured. It would be constructive.

About the tutorials part (your second link), these are some examples to learn the Scol language. Openspace3d is written in Scol. Other applications can be written in Scol ...

Re: Source Code & Binaries

ok... I was able to download the contents of your trunk using "wget"

Syntax:
wget -m --no-check-certificate https://arkeon.dyndns.org/svn-scol/trunk/

I can now browse the files offline and create a build using cmake.

Also, your directory structure is most helpful to compile the required binaries for a live build. I will make this available to you as an optional O/S for your website once I have checked the build for any bugs and/or errors.

Thank you.

**EDIT**
Gawd! That's a lot of data!
