you can create animations using 3dsMax or blender.
FBX format also support animations.
the plugIT object track also permit to create simple node animations directly into OS3D.

It depend of the animation type I think, I'm not familiar with blender.
You can try to drag and drop the blend file directly into the OS3D window.
