in other words, can I use the functions posted to redmine with the most current public release of the voyager?
does the terrain already have a physics body created when the terrain is created, or doe it need to be assigned?

I started a work on Ogre terrains but for now it was just a test to generate one.
For now it just creates a fixed terrain without anything ^^
that's great. it must not be too hard to get it assigned to a collision tree physics body i would think.
os3d almost has sky(done), water(done), earth (almost there), and fire (particle systems)

I wish I knew c++ and I could help. Once you have terrain you have the 'whole nine yards' as we say in the U.S.
The next best thing is knowing scol I guess.

it's not that big a job though....i would think quite a few projects out there have open source code for getting newton to play with ogre terrains (maybe I'm wrong, I don't spend much time playing games...)
