Hiding PlugIt and controlling materials opacity

Hi,

I am trying to play a video when a marker is found. I want the video to be 50% opaque so objects behind it are visible and hide it completely when the marker is lost. However, I didn't find a way to hide a (video) plugit.

On the other side, if I use an object/material on which to render the video, I can't find a way to reduce object/material opacity. Please suggest a solution.

Thanks!

Re: Hiding PlugIt and controlling materials opacity

Hello !

it depend if you want the video on a plane in 3D or if you want to use the video on 2D overlay.

to set the video opacity on overlay just use the opacity parameter on the video plugIT, you can also change it with the Opacity action

to set an opacity on a 3D plane applied on a marker for example you can create a transparent material with a default texture, apply it on the plane and the apply the video plugIT on it.

A new version of openspace with a lot of improvement will be there in few days.
