markerless

hello,
what's the best choice when using markerless?
image with colorfull and crowded object, glow, transparent color? OR image with solid color, steady line, many object, no transparent color?
because there is a markerless that difficult to detect by webcam.
or it is about the size of images?
please tell me..
thanks!

Re: markerless

almost all of that ^^
this is difficult to found a picture with the best detection.
try a picture with text and gradients, this works well with photos and the colors are not taken in accounts

Re: markerless

Hello,

the size of the bitmap depend of what you need and on performances.
Bigger your bitmap is and more you could "zoom" on it an keep the position track, but the detection will be a little slower.

i'd try 6.7 x 6.7 cm bitmap, just like the size in AR marker PlugIT (0.067m) the detection is pretty bad, i can't get stable detection just like using standart markers, can u give me suggestion how the bitmap size who have both, i mean the performance and the fast detection,
here is my marker pattern example, do this would have a good detection?

thanks a lot arkeon:)

Re: markerless

hello

your marker is too simple for feature detections, tr to add a noisy background

Re: markerless

Yes your picture must have a sufficient number of interest points for a good detection.
