hello,
I am a student from Asia, I want to request a permission to use OS3D documentation.
My purpose is to make a basic theory for my paper.
thanks!

Hi,
You right, there's no visible licence about the documentation content...
I think it's LGPL or something like that, as other OpenSpace3D stuff, but as I'm not sure that it is really the case, let me check with my colleagues first, I'll give you a response asap

The GNU LGPL license is for a source code, not for a documentation. Openspace3D is edited by the I-maginer company. Please, contact them for more information about the licence of this documentation : contact-AT-openspace3d-DOT-com.
If needed, the Scol language reference is totally free.

Hello,
you could use a creative commons licence for your documentation.
So, you can grant the right to use this documentation and fix the condition for this usage (maybe you should take the right of paternity- Attribuer l'oeuvre à un nom).
You just have to choose between 6 licences, the process is really easy on that link:
http://creativecommons.org/choose/
After that, you will have to show the little licence logo on your documentation.
It's finish
From now, noboby will ask if he can or not use this documentation, and/or the condition of use.
