Alpha channel

Hello friends,

I need to apply the alpha channel into a 3D mesh to simulate hair on a dog. I tried all ways and it did not work (see example picture).

Send the link to download the whole scene if you want to do some testing.

Re: Alpha channel

what exporter do you use ?
try to download my last Ogre Easy Exporter version and use an alpha channel in a png file directly in the diffuse channel

Re: Alpha channel

If you  want a shader to do diffuse, normal, specular and alpha, you can use the one I worked on:

Re: Alpha channel

just keep in mind flipping and rotating the alpha channel image...I have know idea why the shader treats the uv space of the alpha channel differently than the normal, diffuse in specular, but it does.
