xml file in v 1.96

Hi everyone
Can you help me for using xml reader plugIT, I have read the documentation but it was not verry clear; I use an xml file reference like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<document>
  <titre>titre</titre>
  <auteur>auteur</auteur>
  <date>date</date>
</document>
and I use an xml file with the followings content, but i can't read xml file
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<document>
  <titre>titre</titre>
  <auteur>auteur</auteur>
  <date>date</date>
</document>
I think that i didn't understand how to use this xml reader plugIT.
I am intersted in read an xml file from my app and catch the data it contains and use them. Thank you

Hello here the template :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<document>
  <titre>{Titre}</titre>
  <auteur>{Auteur}</auteur>
  <date>{Date}</date>
</document>

and the xml values:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<document>
  <titre>Openspace3D for newbies</titre>
  <auteur>B. Bourineau </auteur>
  <date>12/12/2012</date>
</document>
