if your devices can gives datas in serial com you can use the serial plugit to read them.
Otherwise you will need to make a plugin to manage it.
to build a plugin for OS3D for a dedicated device you need to:
- build the C++ source of scol
- make a new plugin to expose the sdk features of the device to scol langage
- make a plugit for OS3D that use your new api
