OpenSpace3D 1.50

Hello!

This one took some time to release but it's finally here!

The neurosky support is back on Windows, all new interfaces are compatible in VR mode with virtual keyboard (when you use a VR plugIT, like openVr),  new templates are ready to be imported in your project to add viewer features in 2D or VR...



Here the release history: 1.50 - 03/30/2018
PlugITs:
- Add "Local network" plugIT allowing to synchronize objects and send messages between multiple applications or instances of a same application through TCP or UDP protocol
- Add "Render event" plugIT that sends an events on each pre-render and/or post-render frame
- Add "ChatGUI" plugIT a chat with the new V3DUI interface system
- Update "OpenVR" plugIT with laser pointer on the controller to interract with the world, teleportation, better physics, better navigation, actions to enable / disable controllers. Only shows one eye on screen.
- Update "FPS Navigation" with physics optimizationsand stairs detection and climb optimizations. In VR, uses physics to move and can show your physic body position
- Update "Neurosky" plugIT, now compatible with the Mindwave Mobile Headset and can detect blinking
- Update "Sound" and "3D Sound" plugITs with configurable time events and "Playing", "Paused" and "Ended" events
- Update "Measure", "Label" and "Label List" plugITs with "Maximum distance visibility" option and maximum scale factor when "Constant size on screen" is enabled. Add "always show on top" to "Measure" plugIT
- Update "Picture" plugIT to get the pixel position of the picture.
- Update "Vehicule" plugIT with an automatic reverse gear
- Update "Login" plugIT with V3DUI interface
- Update "Menu" plugIT to allow to change the order of menus with drag-and-drop
- Update "Shadows" plugIT to allow to set the far distance for shadows
- Update "Operator" PlugIT with tan, acos and atan operations
- Update "Object handler" plugIT to use global coordinates when setting coordinates with the interface
- Correction on "Connect" plugIT on application ID generation
- Correction on "Dialog text input" where OK button was empty in the player
- Correction on interface PlugITs, texture quality is now functional
- Several minor correction

Editor:
- Add "viewer_generic" template and VR versions of the viewer templates
- Add LISPSM shadow method
- Add homogenous scale option at the center of the scale widget
- Add virtual keyboard to enter text in VR
- Update network demo with the new "ChatGUI" plugIT
- Correction on material creation and resources reload
- Correction on plugITs parameters on XOS import
- Correction on scale widget

- Add LIPSSM shadows, a lighter implementation of shadows
- Manage shadows attenuation on all platforms

- Update on SSAO to manage higher render queue

- Optimizations on CSM shadows
- Correction on CG shaders
- Correction on fog shaders rendering
- Correction on physic bodies scale
- Correction on widgets and SSAO
- Corrections on sockets in Scol VM
- Correction on videos not playing on IOS
- Optimization on 2d operations

I'm about to update OSD3 to version 1.50, and I am struck by the new plugit "Local network" could give me practical examples of how I could use it, days ago I was wondering if I could have communication with the applications I do Augmented Reality for Android
Is it possible to send messages of updates or changes to the user of the Android AR application with OSD3 ?.
Could you change the AR marker for another one, texts in the  plugin "Dialog", or is it only for objects?

Networks features are also available on all platforms including Android.
If you have the ebook you can check the tutorial about network messages.

Thanks for your answer I think the plugit will help me too much.

I told you that I already installed OSD3 version 1.50, but before opening the program, the PC sent me this message:

"The program can not start because it's missing
Api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll on the computer. Try reinstalling the
Program to correct this program. "

I click on "Accept" and the message is closed, but then the message appears again, I give it again "Accept", the message is closed, and immediately opens the OS3D program
Reinstall the OS3D three times and the message continues to appear.
Do you know what is due?
My Computer uses Windows 7 of 64 Bits.

I also told you that this time I did not receive a message from the new version 1.50 from OS3D, now download the program from the OS3D website. I found out this time about the new version on Facebook.

yes in previous release the automatic update was broken ^^
It should be corrected for this one.

About the Api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll , check that your windows is updates. It seems the file only exist with Win7 SP1

It is correct what you tell me, the problem was my Windows, uninstall some programs and damaged the system, I fixed it and I am all right.

I think you can use the magnet sensor to trigger the mouse plugit click.
also enable avanced raycast mode with the plugit.

you can use the interface "dialog text input" plugit. if you have the card board enable it will show in 3D mode
