Error using Manipulate Object in Android

Hi,

I'm having a lilttle problem with the Manipulate Object when I export to Android. In Windows it works great, but in Android the blue arrows that show you are off the object and if you press it's going to rotate according to the window, looks like this:

Is there any way to change the material of this arrows? Or even to turn them off?

Also, I am having problems trying to pan. If I use Control Object, in Windows I can pan the object (translate) with the middle mouse. But in Android I can't find a way.

Could you help me?

Thank you very much,
Lisandro Tapia

Re: Error using Manipulate Object in Android

Hello,

well I forgot to test this plugIT on Android ^^

I think you can achieve the same behavior with the "examine view" plugIt.
What kind of ergonomics do you try to make ?

Re: Error using Manipulate Object in Android

I tried the "examine view" plugIt. It orbits around but it's hard to control, not the same behavior. And it can pan on Windows, but I can't seem to do it in Android.
I'm just trying to have a 3d object in the center of the screen and have the user rotate the object and translate it (or pan the camera). It shouldn't be difficult, right?
In windows seems easier because of the mouse, but in Android it seems trickier... I can add a button to press and switch from rotation to panning, but I can't seem to do the panning right.

Thanks!

Re: Error using Manipulate Object in Android

yes maybe you can add a button and set the control link.
button.pushed move -> examine view.control

the button plugit can act as a joystick with this

Re: Error using Manipulate Object in Android

Yes, finally I ended up using button.pushed move to control it.
Thanks!
