#1 Re: Openspace3D » [b]Error: All opensapace3D Augmented Reality APP Show Black Screen[/b] » 9-Apr-2017 11:16:35

Hello,

I tested your suggestions without any success. I tested also the simple "AR capture" PlugIT always showing the black screen after loading!

I've tried the AR apps on other phones with  Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and they all showed the black screen,
so we think it is not a defect of my particular phone

"Interestingly when I tested in the previous versions of the Android firmware and in the superior ones like the Nexus with Android 7 runs well."

I've been trying, making testes with the various demo and models in openspace3d, all plugits worked well except the camera plugit that keeps giving a black screen on my A5 Samsung

Thank you four your assistance, It may be a problem only of these specific phones, but I do not know what to do more, because these phones work well with all other applications

#4 Re: Openspace3D » [b]Error: All opensapace3D Augmented Reality APP Show Black Screen[/b] » 1-Apr-2017 15:22:53

Hello,

After looking on Google, the black screen when you open the camer, looks an Android 6 (Marshmallow) Runtime Permissions Issue.

Sorry if I'm wrong "Upgrading android camera intent app to marshmallow runtime permissions"  https://youtu.be/Nt5GMaFUvog

#5 Re: Openspace3D » [b]Error: All opensapace3D Augmented Reality APP Show Black Screen[/b] » 31-Mar-2017 18:07:05

Hello Arkeon,

I tested it with my app "greenscreen" and with your Google Store Game "BOOST MAZE", on a different mobile phone J5 2016
60.1

The result was a identical error,  showing black screen when augmented reality was activated!

It may be a mismatch of the manifesto for the Marshmallow Android?

#6 Re: Openspace3D » [b]Error: All opensapace3D Augmented Reality APP Show Black Screen[/b] » 26-Mar-2017 21:20:20

Hello Arkeon,

Thanks for trying to help solve the error, unfortunately since I'm not a technician, I'm having a hard time getting the log you need.

Report that the camera fails with applications generated with openspace3d, although the image or movie is projected the screen is all black!

I've tried other Augmented Reality apps and everyone opens the camera successfully!

I tried to get the log testing the "aLogcat" app but apparently these applications do not have the necessary rout access to these latest android models.

Is there a simple solution that works, to get the app error log, maybe you can indicate a Google Play Store app to download on android?

Any suggestion?

I tried how I can with APP alogcat, the camera do not answer perhaps...

Hello everyone,

The phone that I'm using is a Android A5 Samsung, based on ARMv7, OS Marshmallow (6.0.1), all the APP from openspace3D show a black screen when opening the camera, after loading screen (splash screen)

I've already tried to make a simple app with just the arcamera plugit to see if the camera is working, but when I run on my device there is also a black screen.

Please help me if possible

#9 Re: Openspace3D » Absolute Fixation the of the image/video on the screen » 28-May-2016 12:01:38

First with a button we trigger a  Video in the center of the screen, that works well FluxBB bbcode test but when we toutch/drag the screen over the image/video it moves spoiling the orientation and position FluxBB bbcode test is possible it  to prevent the video dislocation?

I intend that the video be static in the center of the screen, as started with the button

Thanks a lot for the help

Yes i just pretend an app in portrait mode, aligning the view of the real world from camera, with the overlay image/video/3D, a augmented reality like this example:
FluxBB bbcode test

How to create a rotated HUD, is that a PlugIT?

#12 Re: Openspace3D » Is possible to open AR Capture on Portraite Mode on Android? » 16-May-2016 20:08:34

Im looking for a solution similar to these FluxBB bbcode test, that´s why the importance for the alignement with the camera view!

#13 Re: Openspace3D » Is possible to open AR Capture on Portraite Mode on Android? » 16-May-2016 17:53:29

The Apk is for Android Mobile Phone, where the marker image height is long and the widht is short, the video overlay is a animation of the marker image.

The tranparent video effect, shows the marker geting alive, so the orientation of the camera must be equal to the sreen display.

Any idea.. ? Thanks
