Hi
newbie in this amazing platform.
Can someone help with some explanation about:
1. using GPS location on event/init - to set a position of an object
2. using GPS location to "move" in the scene (FSP or walk-through)
goal:
-click a button to position an object in current GPS location
-walk with the mobile and walk around the object
Thanks

is there member/developers monitor here?...
can i expect to get an answer in some point?...
The book and the tutorials on youtube are really not enough to guide in solving simple real life solutions development.
Great tool, but with no guidance - it is useless.

Hello
I'm also a member of the forum. I advise you to republish your question: your request may not have been successful for Arkéon (Admin. / Scol language & OpenSpace3D developer).
Otherwise you can type the keyword GPS in the forum search. I think "Tam97" asked a similar question.

Thanks. where should i ask questions about openspace3d if not here?...
The issue is that when using the GPS plugit - you get real world coordinates.
but all components working in local position X/Y
so - what is the point having the GPS plugit?
can anyone show some useful example for it? except checking if we are X meters from a predefined object?....

Hello,
sorry I missed your question.
The 3D world coordinates can not match the real world size. this is just because the values in meters should be too large for OS3D.
For example you can use the GPS plugIT to determine if the user in near a location.
The Object parameter of the plugIT allow you to link a 3D objet to that position.
All the 3D world coordinates are from the current virtual camera location.
The object is placed at a distance from the camera corresponding to the plugIT location offset between the camera and the object location.
So the GPS location plugIT can be used to get a reference location in the 3D world.
