VR and AR new company: soreal.com.my

My test file exported is rather heavy, the apk is 20+mb but the entire folder is 100+mb.

Although Windows 10 prompt that "Ogre Converter has stop working" the files was generated. I managed to load into Openspace3D but the exported app missing texture.

Apparently, there are extra material being generated, deleted it and change keep the texture name short (sketchup native texture name too long ----) And it work!! big_smile

I almost gave up looking at Vuforia but to setup Unity, Android sdk, JDK, NDK, ios developer signup... damn. roll

Unfortunately, after one test, it does not work anymore, the converter simply crash, seems like Windows 10 really hate it. smile

The strangest part is, Blender won't allow it to be reinstall... so I remove everything, restart and reinstalled, tested once and worked, wonder what broke it in the first place? smile

The blend2ogre exporter is broken, I tried to import .Blend file directly but only get the model without animation, according to the help menu, the process is too daunting, I stop right here. There is a good reason why others go for Unity and Vuforia. Thank you very much.

Hi Shahbiz8,
Hari Raya Haji, I am from KL. smile

I am able to load dae file, perhaps the animation had to be exported in fbx separately, I have watched some video that seems rather easy but I only get 1 successful export and no AR, just VR. The ogre plugin is complicated and outdated.

Thanks.

Ok, if bone is the preferred way, how to add them to the model? I bought the PDF hopping to find the answer but nothing, it cost me $100 in my currency. Now I know why this software is not popular like Blender.

Hi all,
I am new to AR but experienced in 3D, can anyone please describe how to export each animation from Blender into Openspace3D and assign them to the character? Thank you.
